How have you been? I’ve been my usual busy self – playing ball, trying to chase squirrels and finding patches of sunlight around the house to relax in.
I’ve also been busy training my humans. There’s this TV programme that I just love – The Great British Bake Off – you might have heard of it? I don’t know how popular it is as I’m a dog but I like to watch all the delicious food being baked. I got to thinking about how great it would be if my humans could make some new tasty dog treats – I’m keen to expand my chief taster skills in to more dog biscuits and dog cakes!
I convinced my humans to get baking some new treats and I am pleased to announce that they have followed my orders. They call them ‘Classic British Biscuits for dogs’ – I have no idea what they are talking about – they look new to me. They’ve made ‘Jammie Doggers’, ‘Custard Creams’ ‘Pawbons’ and ‘Pawty Rings’.
They are all super delicious dog treats. So – to coincide with The Great British Bake Off biscuit week – The Barkery UK is launching its Classic British Biscuit range. These luxury bites will be sure to get tails wagging. Even better news is that, apparently if you buy them between 3rd and 14th September on their 'website' (whatever that is?!!) and you enter code Lovedogs123 - you get 15% off these amazing treats!
The Pawbons are my favourite – they are made with dog friendly chocolate. They use this super ingredient called Carob which makes a tempting, safe treat for dogs. It has a naturally sweet flavour and I’m told that it contains vitamins A, B, B1, B2, B3, B6 and D, calcium, magnesium, iron and protein. It is a source of fibre and is a super food which improves digestion, lowers cholesterol and can be used to treat diarrhea. I don’t know about all of that but it tastes yummy and really looks, smells and tastes like chocolate.
I can’t wait to see what is on the next episode of The Great British Bake Off!
My last piece of news is that I now have my own Instagram account – you can follow me: tillybluebell1 to see all my antics.
